A relaunch of Shamie HQ ✨
Hi peaches! Shaaba here, and has it been a while... with an unprecedented global pandemic, PhDs to finish, and a lot of changes in our personal life, we unfortunately forgot about this blog and site. Whilst we may have picked up a couple of tumbleweeds, we're clearing them away now because we're BACK baby and here to stay!
There's so much to share with you! We have a new site headed your way, new content lined up, and a new project launch giving you backstage access to our journey in a way you've never experienced before, eeee 👀 Do sign up to our new monthly newsletter to be the first to hear all about it 🙌🏽
There's a couple bits to update you on too: since our last blog post we moved house 🏠, Jamie and I have both graduated with our PhDs 🎓, and we got married! 🥳
We've also recruited two extra members to Shamie HQ and I'd love to introduce you to them. The first is Prawn (aka King Prawn, Prawnstar, Monsuier Tempura), our new furry son. Big bro Apollo took a couple months to get used to having another floof around. It wasn't always easy bless (the obligatory 200 hiss quota was definitely met, eek), but he's welcomed Prawn in now.
Unlike Apollo, Prawn is cuddly, derpy, and slow. He's yet to help us with filming and editing to be honest, but if you see him around, he's always up for a good snuggle.
The second team member we'd love for you to meet is the amazing Anna Moss! We've been talking about getting an extra set of hands for a while to help with editing and some of the day to day tasks, giving us more time to work on cool projects to share with you. Anna is that extra set of hands, and not only is she the best company and absolutely gorgeous, Anna's also an incredible creative. Her photography is out-of-this-world amazing and you should totally follow her at @annamossphoto on Instagram for all the magical vibes. You'll be seeing a lot of Anna's work with the new fun vibes in our videos, and over here with some blog posts too!
